Playing on 5 runs of 9 balls, he was looking like he is going to mess up a big time yet again. With 17 runs to win of the last over & the in form batsman on the non-striker end the game was as good as gone. Many expected him to repeat a 21 ball 11 run knock in the 2014 T20 final.
Yes we are talking about the post cancer stage of Yuvraj Singh on whom people did not lay their hopes upon.
It looked like India was going to lose the third T20I vs Australia, but Yuvraj had different plans. Andrew Tye bowled a length ball & Yuvi found his touch back by hitting the four of the first ball.
Now Tye under pressure bowled another length ball onto his pads & that was the final nail in the coffin. Yuvi slammed that ball out of the ground for a six. This brought back some hopes for an Indian win.
In the next 3 balls Raina scored the winning runs, but had it not been for the boundaries by Yuvraj Singh the game was as good as gone.
Once a hero always a hero!
