Euphoria fans know 23-year-old actress Sydney Sweeney for her role as Cassie. But now, she wants to be known for something else: for taking a public stand against online bullying.
On an Instagram Live this weekend, Sydney encouraged social media followers to practice kindness after she discovered that a post mocking her appearance became a trending topic on Twitter.
“I would never do that,” the actress admitted through tears. "Never. But I think it's really important for people to see how words really affect people. I know everyone says 'you can't read this stuff' or 'you shouldn't read this stuff,'" she continued. “But I am a person.”
